Hi, I’m Skyler!
I am currently a South Florida resident but a New Englander at heart. I am a licensed therapist with a passion for helping others. I believe my work has a larger purpose contributing to the well-being and happiness of individuals and couples, and promoting healthier families and stronger communities.
My Approach
My approach is eclectic; I use varying therapeutic approaches to support my clients’ needs in the moment, including Psychodynamic, Gottman Therapy, Imago, Internal Family Systems, and CBT and DBT when appropriate.
Through a unique process of exploration, acceptance, and empowerment, I help clients tap into their confidence and potential. This involves collaboration in uncovering life patterns, assessing the interplay between emotions and experiences, improving personal insight, and practicing new healthy thoughts and behaviors that will support achieving personal goals.
My Background
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an education in psychology, human behavior and development and social work. I hold a Masters degree in social work from the University of New Hampshire. I’ve been working in the field since 2015. I am licensed to practice in the states of: Florida, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts and Virginia.
My counseling work is an extension of my years as a therapist serving families of neurodivergent adolescents, student athletes and retirees as well as individual therapy and life coaching for individuals facing major life milestones (college, career, moving, marriage/divorce, pre/post-natal, retirement).
